Der SV Zwickau war am Samstag zu Gast bei der SG Berlin Schöneberg. Das dies keine einfache Aufgabe wird, war allen klar. Die Berliner waren seit über einem Jahr zu Haus ungeschlagen. Dementsprechend konzentriert wollten die Westsachsen beginnen. Das gelang auch gleich. Lovro Roncevia gelang das 0:1 nach einer Minute. Doch die Berliner glichen schnell aus und konnten sogar noch in Führung gehen. Nach dem ersten Viertel stand es 2:1. Jetzt nahm das Spiel Fahrt auf. Die Berliner erhöhten auf 3:2. Doch die Westsachsen konnten sich durch Treffer von Filip Lilic und einem sehenswerten Konter von Daniel Oelschlägel wieder heran kämpfen. Aber die Berliner blieben gefährlich. Wieder setzten sie sich mit zwei Toren ab. Roncevia konnte verkürzen und Franz Czerner hatte sogar durch einen 5 Meter den Ausgleich kurz vor der Halbzeitpause auf der Hand. Doch der Berliner Schlussmann hielt und es stand 5:4 zur Pause. Das dritte Viertel konnten die Zwickauer mit 4:3 durch Tore von Aljosa Bakovic, Toni Grozdanic und zwei mal Roncevia für sich entscheiden. Es stand 8:8 vor dem letzten Spielabschnitt. Roncevia, welcher in diesen Spiel seine Klasse umsetzen konnte, traf zum 8:9. Doch Berlin antwortete nur 15 Sekunden später mit den 9:9. Wieder war es Ronvevia, der zum 9:10 traf. Zwickau zeigte jetzt, dass sie sich Mannschaftlich von Woche zu Woche festigen und Czerner holte die Überzahl heraus. Bakovic schloss sie zum 9:11 ab. Zwei Tore , zwei Minuten vor Schluss, sollte das schon reichen? Die Hauptstädter gaben sich nicht auf. Sie erzielten ebenfalls in Überzahl das 10:11. Zwickau hatte Ballbesitz und griff an. Überzahl, und jetzt in Ruhe mit Köpfchen ausspielen. Bakovic hatte die Ruhe. Er warf mit seinem 3. Treffer das 10:12. Berlin gab immer noch nicht auf. Jetzt wurde es noch mal Hektisch. Angriff für die Berliner. Ein Lattenknaller an den Hinterkopf des Zwickauer Torhüters. Jetzt zeigte der eine Schiedsrichter auf Tor. Doch der Ball war nur an der Latte und die beiden Schiedsrichter entschieden richtig nach kurzer Rücksprache auf kein Tor. Noch 42 Sekunden. Bei 37 Sekunden nahm der Zwickauer Trainer noch mal Taktisch eine Auszeit. Nach dieser spielte Zwickau ruhig weiter. Es gab noch die Möglichkeit in Überzahl das Ergebnis zu verbessern, aber Sicherheit war angesagt. Das Spiel endete 10:12 und somit war die Serie von der SG Berlin Schöneberg beendet. „ Wir sind auf dem richtigen Weg. Jedoch haben wir noch Baustellen , welche noch abgestellt werden müssen. Heute war es ein gutes Spiel von der gesamten Mannschaft“ so Trainer Wüstner.
