Wedding Berlin zu Gast im Stadionbad
Am Samstag empfängt der SVL das Team aus der Hauptstadt um 19 Uhr im Stadionbad und möchte an die Leistungen aus dem Spiel gegen Köln anknüpfen. Nach dem spielfreien Wochenende möchte man noch einmal alles abrufen und sich mit Zählbarem in die Weihnachtspause verabschieden.
Der Sieg gegen Köln vor Wochenfrist hat dem Team von Cheftrainer Sven Schulz sichtlich gutgetan und die letzten Trainingseindrücke lassen für das Wochenende auf mehr hoffen. Nach bislang sehr ordentlichen Ergebnissen, will man gegen die Nordberliner den nächsten Schritt machen und im Vergleich mit einem etablierten Bundesligisten punkten. Bei einem Sieg winkt sogar der fünfte Tabellenplatz, mit dem man sehr gerne in die Weihnachtspause gehen würde.
Neben Details in der Abstimmung im Defensivverhalten, wurde auch im schwimmerischen Bereich intensiv gearbeitet, so dass der Matchplan für die Schwarz-Gelben so aussehen könnte: Aus einer geordneten Abwehr die ebenfalls als defensivstark geltenden Berliner knacken und die sich bietenden Chancen in der Offensive nutzen.

Auf Seiten der Gäste gilt es, deren Topscorer Melwin Meißner zu stoppen und dem Team des ehemaligen Nationalspielers und nun seit mehreren Saisons Cheftrainer der Berliner, Sören Mackeben, keine einfachen Treffer zu ermöglichen. Beim Vorbereitungsturnier in Potsdam trennten sich beide Mannschaften mit einem leistungsgerechten 10:10 Unentschieden.
