Am Sonntag geht’s gegen die Bundesligareserve des SVV Plauen
Erneut müssen die WUM Herren an einem Sonntagvormittag ein Auswärtsspiel bestreiten. Diesmal treten die Magdeburger am 10.12.2017, um 11.30 Uhr, bei der Bundesligareserve des SVV Plauen an. Während die Elbestädter ihre bisherigen zwei Partien erfolgreich absolvieren konnten, verloren die Westsachsen bei den Staffelfavoriten in Prag (5:13) und in Brandenburg (7:13). Es ist also zu erwarten, dass die junge Reservetruppe bei ihrem ersten heimischen Auftritt auf eine Wiedergutmachung drängen wird. Wie das ausgehen kann, haben die Magdeburger beim letzten Auseinandertreffer in Plauen erlebt. Vor fast einem Jahr gab es dort eine herbe 7:15 Niederlage für die WUM. Zwar muss Trainer Dammbrück am Sonntag auf den erfahrenen Neuzugang Christian Schlanstedt verzichten (beruflich verhindert), trotzdem soll am vieles anders laufen. So reist das Team bereits am Samstag nach Plauen. Auch sonst hat sich Dammbrück einiges überlegt, um dem spielstarken Gastgeber Paroli bieten zu können.
