Krefeld 72 trifft im Badezentrum Bockum auf Ludwigsburg
Am kommenden Samstag, den 25.11. treten zur gewohnten Zeit, um 18h, die 72er gegen den zweiten Aufsteiger in die Deutsche Wasserballliga an. Die Begegnung wird mit Sicherheit eine ganz andere als das Spiel gegen die ebenfalls frisch aufgestiegene SGW Köln, das sehr deutlich mit 17:3 gewonnen wurde.
Die SV Ludwigsburg hat sich, nachdem die ersten vier ihrer Gruppe verzichtet hatten, als Fünfter der 2. Wasserballliga Süd im Aufstiegsturnier zur DWL durchgesetzt. Danach haben sich die Württemberger mit einer Reihe erfahrener Spieler verstärkt und schnell zu einer schlagkräftigen Mannschaft zusammen gefunden. Die ersten Begegnungen gegen Neustadt und Plauen gingen nur mit zwei Toren Differenz verloren, und am letzten Wochenende konnte die SVL zuhause gegen Poseidon Hamburg den ersten Punkt einfahren. Das spricht alles für eine spannende Auseinandersetzung im Badezentrum.
Leider fällt Center Kristof Hulmann wegen einer Trommelfellverletzung aus, die er sich im Spiel gegen Wedding zugezogen hat. Die beiden „Rollen“ aus dem letzten Spiel (gegen Roland Tatar und Istvan Keresztes) haben nach neuem Reglement mindestens keine Auswirkung auf dieses Wochenende. Die Mannschaft um Kapitän Yannik Zilken ist dennoch zuversichtlich: „Wir wollen das Spiel um jeden Preis nach Hause bringen und die beiden Punkte in Krefeld behalten. Das ist dann der perfekte Auftakt für das traditionelle Stiftungsfest der SVK am Samstagabend!“
Vor dem Bundesligaspiel findet bereits um 16.15h im BZB eine Begegnung in der U18 NRW Liga zwischen der SVKrefeld und dem ASCDuisburg statt.
