Dann drehte sich das Blatt langsam und mühsam. Der hervorragend aufgelegte Center Dusan Dragic sorgte vorne wiederum für den Ausgleich sorgte, der eingewechselte Torwart Leonard Vogel hielt mit frischem Mut einen Strafwurf und verteidigte damit die Führung. Zwar stand es im vierten Viertel noch einmal 9:10 gegen Krefeld, aber Konstantin Munz konnte hier diesmal schnell ausgleichen. Dusan Dragic verwandelte den selbst erarbeiteten 5 Meter Strafstoß sicher zum 11:10 und sicherte den Erfolg selbst mit einem weiteren Treffer ab, womit zum ersten Mal in dieser Partie ein Sicherheitsabstand aufkam. Leonard Vogel hielt auch den zweiten Strafstoß und machte den Sack damit so zu, dass auch dem neu dazugekommenen Youngster Valentin Gerresheim (99) noch ein Abschlusstor gelang.
Bei diesem glücklichen Ende konnte man dem Ergebnis von 13 : 10 die Mühen kaum noch ansehen. Erfreulich auch, dass sich das Team von hartem Spiel und schwierigen Situationen nicht mehr die Butter vom Brot nehmen lässt und mit dem breit aufgestellten Kader in der Lage ist, flexibel zu agieren. Kapitän Yannik Zilken sieht allerdings wohl zurecht noch „einigen Handlungsbedarf“ Insgesamt aber dann doch ein erfolgreicher Start mit bestandener Bewährungsprobe in die umbenannte „Pro B“ Gruppe!
