Die Frauen Mannschaft des SV Bayer Uerdingen wollen die deutsche Meisterschaft in der Saison 2016/2017 am Waldsee behalten.
Das erste Finalspiel in der Best of three Serie konnten die Uerdingerinnen in Heidelberg in einer hart
umkämpften Partie, in denen sie nie die Führung abgaben, mit 13:11 für sich entscheiden. Jetzt
wollen die Seidenstadtgirls am Samstag in der zweiten Partie im Aquadome den Sack zu machen und
den Titel verteidigen.
“Dies wird sicher keine leichte Aufgabe und wir gehen davon aus, dass die Heidelbergerinnen noch
aggressiver zu Werke gehen werden, als im ersten Spiel. Dennoch haben wir nicht vor, uns auch nu r
einen Meter zurückdrängen zu lassen. Wir werden mit voller Konzentration in das Spiel gehen und
dann im Anschluss sicherlich die ein oder andere Träne verdrücken, aber wir wollen mit einem Titel
Abschied nehmen“, so eine optimistische Pia Schledorn!
Das Finale wird sicher ein emotionsvolles Spiel, da es für die Trainerinnen Pia Schledorn und Sybille
Kaisers eventuell das letzte mit den Seidenstadtgirls vom Waldsee sein kann. Die Mädels freuen sich
am Samstag um 16:00 Uhr auf einen vollen Aquadome.
