Am kommen Samstag (7.4) um 18 Uhr, treten die Seidenstadtgirls im Aquadome gegen den ETV Hamburg an.
Nach den vergangenen Niederlagen, möchte die Mannschaft um Trainer George Triantafyllou endlich wieder einen Sieg holen. Im Hinspiel unterlag das Team den Hamburgerrinnen noch knapp mit 11:8. Dennoch ist hier zu erwähnen, dass dieses das erste Ligaspiel der neu formierten Mannschaft war.
Nun hat sich die Mannschaft gut eingespielt und ist sich sicher, gegen Hamburg etwas Zählbares mitzunehmen. In den vergangenen Wochen konnte Triantafyllou noch mal mit seiner Mannschaft an der Kondition und einigen taktischen Varianten arbeiten.
„Das Hinspiel war sehr knapp. Wir waren da noch nicht so eingespielt und für mich als Trainer war es auch das erste Spiel in dieser Liga. Nun ist die Hauptrunde fast zu Ende und die Qualifikation für die Playoffs steht vor der Tür. Ich bin mir sicher,dass wir Hamburg zu Hause schlagen können.“, so ein optimistischer Triantafyllou.
