Februar 2015Die White Sharks Hannover erhalten im Rahmen des Förderprogrammes „Nachwuchsleistungssport im Verein“ des Landessportbundes Niedersachsen (LSB) für die die Jahre 2015, 2016 und 2017 einen Zuschuss in Höhe von jeweils 5.000 Euro zur Förderung leistungssportlicher Maßnahmen. Der 2014 unter anderem mit deutschen Meistertiteln bei der U15 und 17 erfolgreiche Klub wurde am vergangenen Donnerstag durch den LSB- Vorstandsvorsitzenden Reinhard Rawe ausgezeichnet.
„Das Gesamtkonzept der White Sharks Hannover hat uns insbesondere auch durch den Einsatz besonderer, sozialer Projekte sowie zur Talentsuche und -weiterführung überzeugt“, begründete dieser die Verleihung an den Klub aus der Landeshauptstadt, der einzig die Sportart Wasserball anbietet. Die White Sharks und der Deutsche Ruderclub Hannover sind dabei unter insgesamt ausgezeichneten 20 Vereinen die beiden höchstprämierten Preisträger des Wettbewerbs.
